Get To Know Dr. Henriod
Dr. Joel Henriod received his DDS degree from the renowned UCLA School of Dentistry and was the Chief Resident during his Periodontic Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Because periodontics is an ever-changing field, continual learning is a cornerstone of his dental practice.
He’s also a Diplomate of the prestigious American Board of Periodontology. He was certified after passing a comprehensive and rigorous examination covering all phases of gum disease and its treatment, including dental implants. Only 10% of periodontists have this certification.
In addition to being board-certified in periodontics, Dr. Henriod is certified in LANAP (laser periodontal surgery), a minimally invasive alternative to regular periodontal surgery (gum disease surgery); trained in the Pinhole Surgical Technique, a non-surgical solution for receding gum; and he is certified in oral and IV sedation as well.
Dr. Henriod is a sought after speaker on gum grafting, LANAP, and dental implant treatment, having spoken around the country to a variety of dentists, dental specialists, and hygienists.

Get To Know Dr. Hendry
Dr. Tyler Hendry received his DDS degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. He completed his residency at UCLA Periodontics. Dr. Hendry is certified in LANAP® (Laser Periodontal Surgery), Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique (PST), as well as both Oral and IV sedation.
Dr. Hendry’s passion is to provide periodontal services using the most pain free and advanced techniques available. He cares greatly about each individual’s needs and wants them to have a smile they can be proud of.
In his spare time, Dr. Hendry enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. You can find them at the beach, hiking in the mountains, swimming, or even flying—Dr. Hendry has had his private pilot’s license for almost 20 years and enjoys visiting all the wonders beautiful California has to offer.
Get To Know Dr. Jane Law
Dr. Jane Law, Diplomate to the American Board of Periodontology, is a board-certified specialist in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery. Her philosophy as a periodontist is to deliver exceptional care based on the most innovative practices and technologies with proven results.
Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Law completed her education at the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, earning her Doctorate in Dental Surgery, Certificate in Advanced Periodontology and a Master of Science in Biomedical implants and Tissue Engineering. Along with her passion for saving teeth and rebuilding smiles, she has a passion to educate and serve others. She maintains a position as a clinical instructor for the pre-doctoral program at the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
Dr. Law has extensive training in the management of periodontal disease, periodontal plastic surgery, and dental implant surgery. She loves to connect with people and firmly believes empathy is an essential value to providing meaningful care.
She currently lives in San Marino with her husband and maltipoo, Noodles. In her free time she enjoys gardening, pilates, and traveling.

About Dr. Miller (Retired)
Pasadena Periodontics was founded by Dr. Ronald Miller, a highly respected periodontist who recently passed away. Dr. Miller was not only a mentor to Dr. Henriod and Dr. Hendry in periodontics, he was also their father-in-law. Dr. Henriod and Dr. Hendry have strived to continue the traditions established by Dr. Miller at Pasadena Periodontics, and they honor his memory by treating each person as part of the Pasadena Periodontics family.
